I just try the pd-l2ork version on ubuntu (http://pd.l2ork.org/)
I am lost because the usual shortcuts [ctl + shift + 1,2,3,4,5] are absents ....
any cues ?

also du u know if a documentation in a text format (pdf) about all these new boxes (which are organized whith a color code ) is available ?

Hi, the shortcuts are actually Ctrl + 1,2,3,4,5, without shift Same as in pd-extended.

@gsagostinho FYI on Mac OS X (at least on 10.6 with vanilla) it doesn't work without the shift key.

I made a mistake on my precedent post : the shortcuts I used to are the ones you said :
[ctl + shift + &] = {ctl + 1]
[ctl + shift + é] = {ctl + 2]
[ctl + shift + "] = {ctl + 3]
etc...

@Jojo Lapin I once read that the shortcuts in OS X are different, but I frankly have no idea about them. Since the OP didn't state until now his OS, it didn't even crossed my Linux-centric mind that that could be the case (though it turned out it isn't).

@mx I really don't know what could possibly be wrong with your installation, as there shouldn't be any differences between Ubuntu and Mint (which is what I use) in this regard. Just to be sure, I went to install the latest release of pd-l2ork (build 20160614) and the shortcuts work properly. On top of that, when you create a new patch then click on the Put menu, you can see the list of things you can create, followed by the shortcuts they use. I see this:

well I used Pd-l2ork version 20160614 too but on ubuntu 14.04LTS.
on my machine the put menu is empty.
also it is present only on the pureData windows, the one named Pure-Data L2ork, and not in the patch window, where I have only a file and edit menu
at the end of my installation I had libstk0-dev & libfluidsynth-dev depedencies which were missing, and five dpkg: error processing errors.

maybe the main pb is that I used pd-l2ork-x86_64-20160614.deb which are for ubuntu 16, whereas I am on ubuntu 14 (there is no .deb for 14 )

Well, if your put menu is empty it seems your installation did not work properly.

As for that .deb package, I used that same .deb file and somehow my installation went fine. I am on Linux Mint 17.3, which is based on Ubuntu 14.04, so it's really surprising that you have problems while I don't. I suggest you try contacting Ico at the l2ork mailing list (see: http://disis.music.vt.edu/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/l2ork-dev ). Given that Ubuntu 14.04 is extremely popular, they very likely would have already encountered some issue similar to yours.
