One more message. Your file path suggestion worked! I guess from here on out I wont be saving my extractions in the program files folder, since they fall into the ether there. Peace

I've tried 'show hidden files' too. I also just tried copying the files from the window inside P.D but windows tells me it can't find the files...No idea.

Hey whale. Thanks for taking the time to help me out on this one. Unfortunately, I followed what you suuggested in previous step to no avail. I'm literally stumped. I used the 'save as' to determine the file location and it says its in /programfile(x86)/pd however when I navigate there the files are not there....

I also did a search of one of the files saved to that directory location and could not find it. It's not coming up on my computer. for some reason only the p.d browser can 'see' these files. No idea what to do.

Thanks for your help though with the file path thing, I tried that and it didn't work either. At a loss hey.

    But really aprreciate your help!

I'm not sure why but the switcher object wont work (if anyone can explain how I can save my Pure Data files somewhere that isn't its root folder in program files and still retain all of the libraries and shit I'd be most grateful), but for simplicity's sake I'll just upload the switcher abstraction too. Just put it in a folder with the microkorg patch.

Oh, I almost forgot. Just want to credit Yagiz Mungan who wrote Algorithmic Composition and Pure Data. I'm pretty sure I based the scale generator off of his .pdf on the topic. Having said that I have a strong feeling that I pinched that abstraction from another post on this forum. I'd love to give credit to the dude/dudette who uploaded it but I can't find their post at the minute. If anyone knows where it came from lemme know and I'll credit them :D

    peace fo reals this time!

    Hey all,

I was sick of the fiddly process behind programming a microkorg O0TB due to excessive menu diving and stuff, so I decided I'd map all (most of) its parameters to PD.

Anyway, if anyone wants to use it themselves it's here for your taking.

I still need to nut out the patching stuff, which uses NRPN messages (a bit of a hassle, will get around to it though), but everything else is pretty much done now, I think..

anyways, this community has helped me with so much I just wanted to say thanks!

Hope someone gets some use out of this :D

    peace

Hey can't seem to find any help for this issue. My sliders are all of a sudden outputting decimal numbers and I only need whole numbers.

    I. E. Instead of 300 it's 300.78.

Hi I'm on Windows and for some reason when I navigate to the pure data directory /programfiles(86)/pd I cannot see all of my saved .pd files. I can't see them when I click open from the pd main window but cannot navigate in any other way.

As an extension of this I can't seem to find any of the. Wavs created by writesf.

Does anyone know what's happening here? Cheers?

that's amazing, thanks so much for your help. basic-ass question, but I was wondering, how did you set the toggles within the mseq and tseq box (what are those boxes? are they a canvas?

    Hi David,

Thanks you for the links. I should have mentioned, the sequencer you linked I have already made. It works well for osc~ and mtof functions, but I was unsure how to extend it to enable selecting individual steps ala an 808 style sequencer (short of rewiring each output).

Perhaps I need to go away and think about it more, which I will. Just struggling to bridge the gap between what's here and what I need.

How would I turn steps on and off? Using toggles?

If someone could hold my hand through this I'd be super grateful.
