    First time in my life I had to do something like this to install an application.
    I think it will probably be helpful for others too.
    Thanks again!

    @whale-av
    I just wanted to thank you very much for the help.
    It works!!!! :-)
    The materials you sent definitely helped to do it.
    Also, I asked for help to a friend, I was saving wrongly the new terminal.

    Anyway, I truly appreciate it!

    @whale-av
    Hi again!
    Sorry I was away.
    I still can't do it...
    When I go Terminal and get to the GNU nano window it's empty.

    This:

    Host Database

    localhost is used to configure the loopback interface

    when the system is booting. Do not change this entry.

    127.0.0.1 localhost

    255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
    ::1 localhost
    fe80::1%lo0 localhost

    DOES NOT appear in my window.
    I tried to paste it but I don't know how.
    I followed the instructions of the website, but it doesn't save it when I do "control O"... as they say.

    I did download the correct version for my Mac.
    I'm going out again now. I'll be back in the evening.

    Thanks so much!

    @whale-av
    Thanks so much for your help.
    I found the Terminal and typed: nano /etc/hosts and hit return

    But what do I have to do when I get there??

    Sorry for my very basic questions....

    Thank you!
    I tried in my old computer and it works.
    But, it still doesn't an the new one.

    Where would look for this?

    The default under OS X looks like this:

    Host Database

    localhost is used to configure the loopback interface

    when the system is booting. Do not change this entry.

    127.0.0.1 localhost

    255.255.255.255 broadcasthost
    ::1 localhost
    fe80::1%lo0 localhost

    Thanks!
    J.
