Hi,

Anyone did something like this?
Show tab 1 for GUI: some sliders, radio etc...
Send midi CC or keyup: change the GUI to tab 2: show some bangs, number2 etc...

I saw a synth patch doing exactly this a long long time ago...

Apparently you can change the Z-order in pd2ork........ (send to back/front).
I was messing around with donecanvasdialog a while ago and noticed that canvasses would do this as they cross gop boundaries (maybe)...... I never got around to trying to understand exactly what was going on (it's a gop within a gop............. [master.pd]..........

You might be able to shift a margin slightly and reveal a gop level below / above.
@Liam will probably know more as he is a big canvasdialog fan!

@EEight, I spent a lot of time on building tab interface (gets tricky when you want to do some dynamic patching inside the tabs). I also managed to figure out how to resize the tabs automatically to fit parent window width.

Anyway, hope you succeeded. Building fancy GUIs?

@solipp I adapted your GOP switch so that it works as a scroll. Turns out that it works quite well!
