This humble abstraction appears and cleans the console after you've typed clearconsole into an object box, precisely after 30 seconds. At any moment, you can click on it each time you need a new spotlessly clean console.

I find it useful for repetitive cleaning, especially when there are many open windows.

• QUESTION: ¿Can I save clearconsole together with my patch? What happens if I forget deleting it before saving my patch? Wouldn't that delete useful console notifications?
• ANSWER: clearconsole will still allow you to see any console notifications during 30 seconds. Otherwise, you would never get to know that your patch has some problems. So yes, you can save it together with your patch...which is a nice thing for clean starts.

thanks for this. Maybe in [pd About] you should write that' it's Pd-extended compatible, or something similar? Pd-vanilla doesn't have the hcs library...
Also, you can use the shortcut, Cmd + Shift + l (on Mac, or Ctl on Linux and windows) for clearing the console.

I corrected a bug that would have deleted console notifications if you forgot deleting cleanconsole before saving your patch.

It's incredible how such a simple thing can be problematic, LOL.
