hallo!
i am new in pD and was fascinated with Ryoiji Ikedas performances (i have seen them only on youtube or webpages) but only info i can found is that he is using pD.
so i wonder for myself how to brake downhis workflow or how he structurizes his work.
so is it ONE huge superpatch for one video+audio piece (song/installation) and all is made in pd, or audio is only as source and later is imported to DAW, the same about video.
do anybody knows something how to structure such installation or brake down in elements,
i just want to understand where to start dig and from whitch side to approatch to be able make something where is glitch sound+interacted video.
sorry if stupid question.

I don't think he uses pd. I think when it says he uses pure data it means he is using actual pure data for his compositions, (making compositions using data). personally i'd guess that he uses Supercollider or custom software, not to say that what he does cannot be done in pd

I read an interview saying he uses Max/MSP live a lot, but sometimes it's easier to just write dedicated software.

Any link for this interview ?
Direct interviews from him are rather difficult to find.
Thanks in advance
