Usually it's the extra folder. Right click on the application icon -> show package contents -> contents -> resources -> extra
But still, I had to use Path, in order to have the objects up and running. So, once you've opened Pd, go to Pd-extended -> Preferences -> Path, and set the path of the library folder there.
That approach isn't really recommended. First, if you install an updated version of Pd-extended, it won't use that old extra folder (and may overwrite it), so you have to manually move them around for each new update. Second, Pd-extended 0.43 doesn't let you mess with the preferences files any more. You have to add paths/load libraries within the patch itself.
