Hi list,

I could not load the externals from the "extra" directory, so I wrote the name of the directory in 'path...' preferences. I must have written something wrong (a "\" instead of "/" maybe?) because now nothing has changed and I can't even access the 'path...' preference menu.

What makes it stranger is that I can't access the 'path...' preference menu even after reinstalling pd.

This has happened both in WinXP and Linux (ubuntu).

Is this all very strange or am I plain silly?

On Linux, edit or delete the hidden file (starting with a dot) "/home/yourusernamehere/.pdsettings".

On Windows you need to edit the registry, but I don't know how to do that myself.
