I'm currently having trouble with something that never happened to me before.
Everytime I try to open a .pd, pure data is just running another main window for it, so they are isolated (I can't copy and paste things from one patch to the other as an example).
Does anybody knows how to solve this, or is having the same trouble?

What OS are you using? I guess you're trying to open a .pd file from inside your system, not inside Pd, right? Your system launches a new Pd instance for some reason. Did you try opening your patches from within Pd with Ctrl+O (or Cmd+O on a mac)?

@alexandros I'm using Windows, and trying to open the patches just clicking on the .PD files.

If I use the open on the file tab it opens correctly, but everytime I try to open a New one through the desktop or any other folder, it just opens a New instance to run it.

@Vnms In Windows, have you associated *.pd files with pd.com? That would cause the behavior you're seeing. In my installation, *.pd files are associated with wish.exe.
