I recently found a new firmata client external for pd and I tried it with arduino, it looks perfectly stable.
Do any of you have experience with it? What are the pros and cons over the old pduino abstractions?

I don't know this firmata, I tried to use an old one a couple of years ago but decided to write the arduino and pd code myself, and now I'm very happy that I did.
In my experience projects done with externals don't age as well as the ones where I know all the code.
What are you trying to do? The ardiuno serial.write and read are not very difficult to use and there is a lot of documentation and examples available online.

@Maxiestudies Truely, I prefer write my own code too when using arduino. But I need to do a very short workshop and I am asking myself what is the most solid way to talk with firmata.

This was the last version of [pduino] I know it was supported, but still in the GitHub page the last update was four years ago. Never saw the compiled object you posted before.
