I can't find the help file for this object but....

I'm feeding basically routing the signal from each output from [svf~] into a multiplex~ so I can choose which filter type I want

It can be a little clicky when switch inputs.....Is there a fade envelope built into the object? Or should I implement a fade on the output?

I think [mux~] just does a sudden switch. You can use a [lop~] on audio rate control signals to stop clicks too, like this alarm sound.

I would have been using 4 line~, *~ and bunch of messages and cobbled together some clunky solution that i thought was the dogs jewels

Is there any way to smooth out the switching?

I'm working on a piece where I need to have the option of clicks when I have fast envelopes, but no clicks when the envelopes are slow, and be able to dynamically change between these.

Any way to set up a structure using multiplex~ or some other object that will switch between envelopes smoothly without a click?

Here's what I'm using now, and the stages are basically ramp up, stay up, ramp down.

matrix~ has a fade-time parameter.

Could not find where matrix~ is. Which library has it?

It's actually in iemmatrix. Also, [mtx_mul~] is the replacement for [matrix~].
