Greetings.
Well, I'm using Pd-0.49-1 under a MacOS Mojave. I was using a patch with a pipe object and found that the pipe is sending wrong values when I use it with more than one argument.
When using it with a trigger object before the pipe it works fine. But why I have to use the trigger? Couldn't I use just the pipe?
I'm sending the pic of the patch.
Does anyone have seen this before? That's so bizarre that I couldn't believe that there isn't any topic in the forum about that...

@danielsomar We (or I anyway) cannot see your picture.
Most pd objects distribute an incoming list across their inlets....... so if you send [6 8000] into pipe and immediately [2 1000] it will output 2 first after 1 second and 6 afterwards after 8 seconds (from when you put the messages in).
Anyway, maybe you could upload the problem patch so we can see?

Ok, I've found that. It's a kind of hot inlet problem. I'll upload the wrong and correct patch here, ok?
Cheers...

@danielsomar That's right. Generally everything is right to left in Pd. Data drops out right to left also, and all chains are completed before the next outlet triggers. I think there is one external out there that is not, but it is documented in its help file.
Triggers are a good idea to ensure the correct order of operations.

THANKS, David.
I already know about that. I just thought a little weird in the view of the pipe object."May Universe be your temple; May Work be your pray; May love be your faith; And may Charity be your religion" (Guru Babajiananda)
