Hi, newbie question about creating waves. Why does the floss manual offer 2051 after the sinesum message when creating waveforms?
http://write.flossmanuals.net/pure-data/generating-waveforms/
What does that number mean?

@redstevo Hello........ this is cut and paste from the documentation included in your Pd installation....
You can see where the help files are located in the window title bars.
They have decided that 2048 (samples) is a good size to give adequate audio information.
Later, they use [tabread4~] to read the array. [tabread4~] does a "4-point interpolating table lookup".
That means that it needs 3 more samples in the table...... in order to interpolate.
It is better explained here.
2048+3=2051
