hey pd peeps!
i was wondering if anyone could tell me whether the following is completely impossible or not:

i have a raspberry that is looping videos through a beamer. I would like the video to be manipulated by an external touch sensor. so no sound.

raspberry pi - pure data - touch sensor

what ya think?

Those posts and others say it all, and some are written by people that know a lot more than me about Gem and openGL.
Pure Data can communicate with capacitive sensors by various means, and video can be played on the rpi...... but Gem is unlikely to work.......you might find python more useful......

hmm okay then maybe pd isnt the way to go. but there must be a way to have a sensor impact a video right?

Gem is working in Pd Extended on Raspbian so maybe there's a way to do it in with Pure Data and Gem
