Hi,
I am unable to import the freeverb~ patch into
I am new to PD and I suspect I have missed something in toe documentation but am wondering if there is a version compatibility issue.
I have installed Pd 0.46.7 64-bit version on OSX but I notice that the freeverb~ was built for PD-extended (which of course is no longer supported). I am not sure if that is important or not.
Can someone please point me to the part of the documentation that describes how to import patches?
Thanks
Bryon

Pd-extended is no longer maintained, but now there's the deken-plugin which lets you install many externals.
Install Pd-0.47-0 instead of 0.46-7 (I think that 0.47 is now stable, although not mention as such on Miller's website) which has this plugin installed by default. Then go to Help -> Find externals, and type "freeverb" to find it. Deken will install it and compile it for you. Then set the path to Pd's search path (Preferences -> Path..., hit "Apply" and "OK") and restart Pd. It should be there. -
You should try to put the object [import freebverb~] and then you can use the [freeverb~] object
Let me read what happens!

Also, Katja made a vanilla abstraction version of freeverb~: http://forum.pdpatchrepo.info/topic/6247/freeverb-in-vanilla-pd

Recently had to reinstall entire Debian 11, lots of pd stuff lost, freeverb~ among it. Did Help - Find externals, got it.
