    Hello,

I have worked with the pduino patches before with a different Arduino and Solenoids but I have come back to it a year later and cannot get it working completely.

In the pduino-test patch I can pulse the outputs and my solenoid works fine, however in the test patch that I have modified I get this error...

'Write error, maybe TX-OVERRUNS on serial line
[comport]: Serial port is not open'

I have included the patch. Also I am using a Mega 2560 as opposed to the duemilanove I used last year.

I am probably missing something very simple, can anyone help?

    Thanks!
    Zeela

    Hey,

I recently got some solenoids working and I have deployed them in different fashions using PD,

Would be cool if you checked them out, any feedback/suggestions are welcome!

    Cheers!

I just don't understand what that error refers to in the patch, I am confused! :(

    Hey PonZo,

Thanks a lot for the reply! That's exactly what I was looking for on the forums.
Yeah, it's early stages yet, it's taken a while to get parts in and go through all the trial and error of getting a good set up.
However I do plan to try them on different instruments and to create proper installations next year hopefully.
They are so versatile and work great with PD, there so much to do!
Also, I checked out your instruments, that looks pretty insane, will be sure to have a deeper look at it!
    Thanks again!
