    Noob question here
I'm trying to set a slider to work with my midi controller knob to smoothly go from 0.1 to 0.2 using log numbers and can't seem to get anything working without jumping from 0.1 to 0.2. It works fine using the mouse cursor on the slider.

I'm sure it's a math thing but can't work it out. Any help would be much appreciated

    Cheers

I’m trying to get the pads on my midi controller to switch a toggle object on/off. I can get the pad to toggle but only momentarily - switches on when I push then off when I release. I would like to make it so that 1st time I push and release the pad it turns the toggle on then 2nd time it switches off. I’m thinking I need some way of detecting the toggle state or is there a simpler way of doing this.

I hope my question is clear and any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers.

    Hello

This is probably a basic answer to a basic problem.

I have a midi controller mapped to a number box. As you would expect the numbers in the box when I turn the knob range from 0 - 127. However I want to have the range from -200 to +200. I How do I acheive this ? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks (:

    Hello

I'm, fairly new to pd and I have a 4 channel setup and trying to find a way of panning a simple osc signal 360 degrees from output 1 to 4 and back again. I would like to do this manual using a slider or other object available . Does anyone have any advice or examples that would help me.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

Does anyone have any experience with using the Focusrite Scarlet 6i6 with Pd on Mac 10.7. Does it work, any issues I should be aware of?

    Thanks

I'm trying to make a simple volume slider with a mute button that retains the previous volume state so that when un-muted the volume returns to the slider position it was in previously. Therefore just muting the sound rather than resetting back to zero. I'm thinking this is fairly simple to do but I just don't get it as a noob. Thanks for any help. I've attached a basic patch.

This is a very simple question. When building a metronome as in the pd-tutorial I get a clicking sound in addition to the tone. Why is this and how can I get around it. I've found the same trying out other patches using metro. Thanks for your advice.

    Hello

I'm new here and to Pd. I was wondering if there is a way to assign a key stroke to a slider? I have a slider that controls the frequency of a oscillator and want to assign it to the up/down keys in my keyboard. I'm on a MacBook Pro. Is this possible?
