    Hey,

I'm pretty new to GEM and was wondering if there's a way to store the information(RGB and co-ordinate) about an image as a matrix/similar, to retrieve it at a later point.

My current method involves a rastering scanner that stores the information about the image in a big .mtx file.

    Any insight would be appreciated!

@sunji, I believe we're trying to extract the values of the pixels in some coordinates, as opposed to take a snapshot of the window.

Sidenote - do you think this can be done with pix, snap? Looks somewhat promising and I am currently investigating this.

Marvelous, thanks. Keep me posted on anything you find out!

I'm wanting the RGB values ideally in some kind of matrix. Finding that all conventional methods are either overloading Pd, or taking ages.

    Regards.

I'm not really sure how to use pix_buffer if I am honest. I can't find any examples on the internet with still images either.
