    Hello All,

I'm new to Pure Data, obvious, and am having a problem that I believe should be easily remedied. My ultimate goal is to use my Nintendo DS along with Pure Data to control parameters in Traktor Pro DJ Software via MIDI. At the moment I am running Pure Data on my Windows machine and can send/receive data from my DS and get feedback in PD but can't seem to translate that information to MIDI. I am currently playing around with Knobs and Sliders Test that came in the compressed package and have both MIDI-OX and LoopBe1. Any help that you out there might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Toxonic:
Tried what you suggested but still can't seem to get MIDI information sent PD out to MIDI-OX. Have used other hardware and software with it and no problems. Any other ideas? As for the flow of information: I have a CycloDSEvolution card in my Nintendo Ds capable of running homebrew applications (music trackers, emulators, whatever), on that card I have a program that communicates with PD wirelessly, the PD patch on my computer sends messages to the DS to make toggles/faders/knobs, and then you get feedback depending on how you manipulate the controls on the DS.

    Flo:
Have you ever worked with KnobsAndSliders? I've used other wireless apps on my DS like KaossDS and haven't had a problem with routing the information. The howto on the Knobs page is quite simple and didn't help me out.

Thanks Toxic, I'll have to give what you suggested a shot a little later today. Do you know of something on the DS that can directly control Traktor? I know of the KaossDS and the piano app on DSMIDIWIFI, but the parameters you could control by using them for Traktor would be fairly limited. I'll let you know how your advice works out.
