i'm making a synth using pd vanilla - the end goal is to have it running on an rpi on stage -

i've been using my PC th make the patch - using the Alesis VI25 which attachs over USB.

the patch runs great on the rpi, but in Midi preferences > Midi > input devices - it just says none.

    any thoughts?

i'm running pd 0.49.0 on an rpi 2

hi all.. i am a musician making pd patches that run on my android phone.

recently both pddroidparty and mobmuplat have been having an issue with the headphone jack: they won't run properly with something connected to the headphone jack and if they're running when something plugs into the headphone jack they ignore it and carry on making sound through the phone speakers.

as this issue involves both of the apps that i use to make pd pathes run on android i'm supposing that it must be an issue with lipbd which underpins boths apps -

any help would be appreciated - thanks

@EEight ok, so if i want to start pd with a certain patch when my rpi2 boots...how can i do that?

    in a terminal window i

cd - wherever that pd is - /bin
    ./pd -open filename.pd

but how do i send those commands at startup?

i'm asking you Eeight because you seem to know - but of course the rest of the world may well know as well x

i need a random sequence of numbers between 0 and 7 that has each of those integers in it - and is therefore 8 numbers long. shuffle does this but i'm trying to stay with just pd vanilla objects - in order to get it to work on android at some point.

any help would be appreciated x
