    Hi

i have installed pd-extended 0.38.4 on ubuntu feisty. When I try to open it, it has asked for several libraries. So I have made several symbolic links to libraries it has asked for, and they appear to be working OK.

But libvos3gcc3.so has got me stumped.

When I try to open pd I get the following error message:

/usr/local/lib/pd/bin/pd-gui: error while loading shared libraries: libvos3gcc3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

    I have libvos3gcc3.so in /usr/lib/openoffice/program.
    I have tried:

    a/ making a symbolic link from /usr/local/lib/pd/bin to /usr/lib/openoffice/program/libvos3gcc3.so

    b/ copying libvos3gcc3.so to /usr/local/lib/pd/bin

    Neither worked! *@#%$%!!

Does anyone have any advice on what I can do here?

    Thankyou!
