I'm very new to Pure Data and just found out about it through using touchOSC.

I had this exact same error and i notice by opening two patches (basic.pd & mix2-receive.pd can be found @hexler http://bit.ly/pmfwJO) both use dumpOSC 8000 and it will cause dumpOSC 8000 couldn't create.

Solution:
1. What I did import mrpeach as @atarikai & @Maelstorm suggested and also dumposc_setup.
2. Then duplicated basic.pd into mix2-receive.pd in edit mode which is putting new obj: sendOSC, print osc & dumpOSC=udpreceive; msg: connect,fader & print osc.
3. Done.
