    Hi everyone,
here's my first pd-project, made for a childrens exhibition in Frankfurt.
Ok, this is not very advanced programming but i tought i post it anyway....

Since its an exhibition about secrets this guy takes yours and plays them backwards or at any speed you wish... well, not so easy to explain, better just watch:

Thanks to everyone who helped me doing this by sharing their wisdom on the net (and also on this forum)!!!

    Hello,
as the patch that i'm working on is getting more complex, suddenly my counters don't work properly anymore. At least it seems so.
Cause when i print the counter's messages everything is fine, but on my patch-canvas the numers are staying zero...
Even the counter from the help-browser behaves like this now.
    Does anyone know why?
    Thanks a lot,
    Christopher

    Hi everyone,

I want to build a pd-application in which users can launch the programm by only using the mouse-button (read by MouseState).

    The problem is:
They don't see the computerscreen, it is hidden...

How can i make shure, every mousclick gets recognised and not only the ones in the PD canvas?
    Is threre a real fullscreen-mode?
How do i prevent users from clicking on the window-frame ore (even worse) on the windows-toolbar?

(Unfortunately i can not lock the mouse position as i use it for deteckting a movement-speed... So when the mouse is clicked the mouse-arrow could be anywhere)

    Any ideas?

    Thanks and regards, Christopher

    No, i'm using 0.42.5 on win 7pro...
Would you recommend using the beta?

Thanks for the link, this was what i was looking for.

Yes, i read that too. And i placed the plugin in every of these folders to test it.
    Doesn't work so far.

I worked around by making a fullscreen gemwin.
But now MouseState doesn't recognise clicks anymore...

If anyone is interested, i still post my efforts on this...
Hopefully, this story will have a happy end :-)

    Puredata.info says:
"From Pd 0.43 on, Tcl/Tk plugins can be used to add optional functionality to the GUI. ... Every file that uses the xyz-plugin.tcl naming scheme and resides in the object search path of Pd is executed upon startup."

So what i need to find is the "object search path" and place the .tcl-file there...
Only, when i look at the path window, they only link to .pd or .ddl- files.
Maybe there is another path for these .tcl- files. But where?

Is this really so difficult or am i just dumb?

Ok, i just found out there is actually a plugin for fullscreen, a file called "fullscreen-plugin.tcl".
I cannot figure out how to install this file.
I put it in the folder programms > pd > extra. But it doesn't seem to work.
Is this because of the wrong path?
Or do i need to open the plugin in the startup-dialog?
    But then again: how?
    Can someone help?
    Best regards, Christopher
