I'm working on a little sequencer to control my Korg ms20. I wanna use the knobs on my midi keyboard as a hardware sequencer similar to the sq10.
I have a fantastic midi - cv converter, it's a Kenton Pro 2 and it works great.
So in PD I send midinotes to 'noteout', but I only get one trig and no note off, I think. I want one trig per note I'm sending. I looked through the forum and found a thread about this (http://puredata.hurleur.com/sujet-2202-beginner-midi-note-off-messages), but I still can't get it to work.
If some friendly soul would have a look at my patch and give me some advice, then I would be very greatful.
Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your help, now it works!
Another question, I need a switch for control messages, just like [matrix~] but not for audio, is there an object for this?

I found this sequencer (http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2010/04/17/midi-step-sequencer-made-in-pure-data/) which works fine and has my trig problem solved. Only thing is that I can't see how it's solved in that patch.
Anyone know how to see the patch itself? Is it possible to edit it?

Yes, you're right, makenote doesn't make anything useful the way it is now.
I wanted makenote to send a noteoff after 4 ms so that a trigger is sent with the next midinote. How can I do that?
