    Hey guys,

I'm working on a project that uses color tracking in GEM at the core of its process and I've managed to get the feeds from two fire-i webcams but for some reason I can't seem to lower the resolution.

As in, unless I set "dimen 1200 1600" I either get a cropped portion of the video feed or some sort of green pixel-y mess when I try anything else.

I've tried going into the dialog box but the settings just don't seem to stick. Even the preview window only shows a fraction of the video input.
The default setting seems to be: "Component Video CCIR"

    Any ideas?

It's seriously eating up the cpu load and like, being a bit of a hassle.

    Any thoughts?
    I'd greatly appreciate any help!

    Owen.

that's kind of the extent of the messages and I don't really know what to make of it. What's with all that HD jazz? I certainly don't want that.

but yeah, so far, I can only get 1200 1600 and higher. Maybe if I worked in YUV?

edit: I forgot to mention that I'm running a macbook pro with snow leopard.
