    Hello,

i'm new to this forum, currently working hard to get into pd and make a patch for live use to replace an under-exploited and too expensive Ableton Live.
I'll give more details in another dedicated post.

Here, after unsuccessful search, i'm wondering if an object is able to read markers wich could exist in a type0 or type1 midi file ?

in attachement is a simple atstraction i use in my main patch. Is uses [seq] to send raw data to my midiout ports.

The other object [midiparse] has no output specific to markers.

I've not read the full midi specification, but it looks like the markers are contained in the midi header ? i may be wrong...

I'd use those markers to jump to a specific part in the file.

any hint is welcome, thank you

    replying to myself :
Markers are meta events who can be part of a track (typically a marker track) with Hex code of 0x06 nn text...

So if no (know to me) puredata object can handle this events, how could i do to code one ? reading the raw midi file ?
