If at all possible I have a request. I'm pretty sure this would be the correct place here to ask... if not I'm sorry.

But, I've been trying to understand and work this program for about 3 months now. I just can't seem to "get it". So, having been reading and studying and messing with all the help files, and anything I can find online, I still cant manage to do what I want to do. I know its possible, since I've seen similar things to what i want to do on youtube and such.

I simply want to be able to load a song, and be able have the audio create video. I guess a visualizer is what i want. Nothing crazy. Whether its altering images, or if its just generating colours, or anything from the song, I wouldn't mind. It's just I've searched a ton and can't seem to find anything even remotely specific.

So if anyone could show me a patch that I could poke around in and try and figure out some stuff, or some tutorials that would help me out with this, or even other suggestions of programs that may be easier or more suited for this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Because in all honesty I'm no programmer (though I've always been interested in it) D: plus this is pretty much my only route since I cant animate at all, and I don't want to buy any extravagant video software just to have to learn how to work that..
