Hello.

I have been working with pd-extended in Windows, not much, some basic things and this time I try to install for firt time Ubuntu 12.10 on my laptop.
After that, i install pd-extended from here: http://puredata.info/docs/faq/debian
I can install it without problems, but when i try to run it, the program say me this:

ALSA input error (snd_pcm_open): No such file or directory
ALSA output error (snd_pcm_open): No such file or directory

install the ALSA controler, and the error is again.

Try to change in "MEDIA" to the option "OSS" and the program say:

/dev/dsp (read/write): No such file or directory
(now will try write-only...)
/dev/dsp (writeonly): No such file or directory
/dev/dsp (readonly): No such file or directory
audio I/O stuck... closing audio

I too try to install pd-extended 0.43.4 from here: http://autobuild.puredata.info/auto-build/latest/ , but the same problem appears.
