Thanks much for the suggestions guys, I think I'm just going to give up on this but appreciate the support. I was considering trying to get this going in order to pick up an organelle and play around but I think these kinds of problems are what drove me to euro/analog based instruments to begin with, the frustration is too much

Was a good exercise in learning what I will and will not do to make music.

Hmm, thanks Seb but it looks like that didn't help. I tried:

• I upgraded my tcl/tk to 8.6 via brew
• Turned off "dark mode" in settings and rebooted
• Tried re-compiling using new tcl/tk
• Tried re-running pre-compiled 0.50-0 for my platform

No dice.. Thinking I need to just run it on a virtual linux machine..

I've been trying all night to get PD working on my mac, Mojave (10.14.6) PD 0.50 Mac 64 bit, and I can't seem to get a working GUI, has anyone run into this before? I don't see any mention of someone else having this problem, wondering if it's just me.. Maybe I need to re-install Mojave? I tried compiling from source, and even tried the 32 bit version and had the same problem (actually was worse, couldn't read buttons).

Just a black screen, blue outlines on PD objects.. Any ideas?
