Hi, I'm new here. I'm trying to synthesize the sounds of the Roland TR909 with Pure Data. When I get to cymbals that use 8 bit depth samples with a 32kHz sample rate I have a problem. Soundfiler gives me the following error "unsupported sample format". Do I need to convert the .wave files to 16bit 48kHz or is there a way to read the file at 8bit?
