Hi, I'm a new user of PD. In fact, so new, i haven't even used it yet!

I found about PD via a google search.

Could someone tell me if i can use PD to do the following:

When i press C (in any octave on my midi piano keyboard), it triggers a particular color on my computer screen (full screen). And if i press G (any octave) it triggers blue. And so on, different colors, for all 12 notes.

Is this easy to do with PD? If you know what you're doing (which i don't), i'd imagine it's very simple.

Anyone feel like getting this to work for me for a small amount of $?

I'm trying to edit the above patch that Guido sent me so as to define the colors (triggered by each midi note) myself.

But I'm a total noob and simply don't know where to start. I've discovered edit mode, but how do i edit the module that assigns the color?

There's one thing though:

I would like the colored screens to only appear during a midi note on message.........when it receives a note off message, it should revert to a black fullscreen.
