Sorry if this has already been discussed but I couldn't find anything about it. I'm using Pattern Sequencer to send Midi data to Pd which then does the synthesis. So far connecting the programs has worked quite well but sending multiple notes at once seems problematic.

When I try to send multiple notes at once to Pd, no midi event at all is received. I checked with a number object as well as with a print object. The funny thing is that this happens only when I set Pattern Sequencer to playback, when I place the notes while the sequencer is stopped, both notes from that step are sent sequentially. When I then start the playback, again there is no note at all.

Is this a general problem with Pd, or is it maybe a bug in the sequencer program I'm using?

I know it's frustrating to never get an answer, and as you're already asking for guesses, here you go. It's a really wild guess, mind you.

I think I read somewhere that the oscx objects are not actively maintained anymore, and that you should use some other osc objects called just "osc"(?). I don't know where to get them, though.
