Hello everyone!

I am a very very new user ( new to programming in general) and I want to use PD to create a simulation of how a person with hearing loss would hear specific audio files. To do that I want to create an EQ that would accept values from an audiogram compare its values with those of a reference audiogram (of a normal hearing person) apply the reductions in the frequencies where the person has reduced hearing and then playback the result. (Ideally I would like to have a spectrum analyser on the input and output as well.

Any tips on how to start? or any existing patches that could be helpful while building this? I have already watched tutorials on how to get started with simple things but this is a bit more complicated and I feel that the resources I have are not very helpful.
