Hi Pd heads, I am just starting a research project which is looking at the use of Puredata alongside the Unity3D game engine. I already have some experience in linking the two, however I am interested to see what other people are doing.
My end goal is to write a handbook/guide on the subject to explore the more generative nature of sound and music. I am more focused on the Pd side of things, with only a basic knowledge of U3D, but I see it as a great way to diversify and extend the nature of sound within gaming environments.
I would also like to hear some suggestions/ recommendations/ questions on the subject, and about the handbook. I have already written a beginners handbook for Pd (waiting to publish), and will use that as a grounding for the second handbook.
