Is there a way to fill an array of 100 with a readout of an envelope but the envelope can be any duration?

Forgive me if I'm going about this completely the wrong way, but I would like to have a read out that can work for an envelope of any duration (from 10 ms-10sec)

kinda unsure about what you're trying to do, but check out poke~, ipoke~, and tabwrite (no tilde). with poke and ipoke you can specify the index at audio rate, thereby writing at different rates than the sample rate. or if all you want is a readout it may be better to go with snapshot~ and tabwrite, in any of these cases just change the write speed by whatever ratio you change the envelope length by (if you make the envelope 2X as long then make the write speed 1/2 as fast)
