Hello,
I resently saw a 3 potententiometer setup for fm synthesis generator demo on you
tube,by allaprimasp.I have an arduino rev3 uno ,pure data and pduino and firmata
standard uploaded into my arduino.I didn't know how to access the fm synthesis
generator or what I would need to do to get the same sounds as the demo and how to
hook everything up to the arduino .I am a begginer at all of the processes involved.
The demo on you tube was done by a foreigner I guess and doesn't speak english
from what I can gather. The 3 potentiometers are to the analog part of arduino. I guess I also need to know, how to change the carrier frequency and modulation frequency and where, and how to get everything setup exactly as in the video using the fm synthesis generator. The sliders in the software he is using are also adjustable from the potentiometers
on the breadboard. Thanks alot for any reply on this and I would nead detailed instructions for exactly how to get my arduino and pure data and pduino to interface
with the fm synthesis generator and what he used to do the demo on you tube.thanks again ...scottsober

There's a basic FM setup here that should get you started:

I have some questions on the" guitar extended" patches on the web.I got the patches to work in xp.I was wondering how to adjust the sliders( in the step vibrato patch on the guitar extended site)with an external potentiometer and an arduino.I will then build a foot pedal potentiometer to adjust the sliders on the pure data patch so that I can adjust the vibrato speed and other parameters externally, in the patch, so that I can play the guitar and adjust the sliders on the computer screen at the same time .How do I hook all of this up to my arduino?I got the numbers to change in the arduino .test function( analog inputs )with a arduino uno and 3 or 4 potentiometers.I would need the actual pure data drawing of the final complete abstract of the step vibrato, with the added
functions added to the actual step vibrato patch drawing that will do all this.I have pduino, firmata (and pure data) and arduino uno rev 3( loaded with standard firmata.)Thanks for the help with this inquiry,I am a begginner at pure data.1-27-2013
