I have been trying to read wav files using readsf~ in my pd patch. The problem I am facing is, not all but only a few wav files could be read. for all others I got an error : unknown or bad header format.

What kind of wave files can be read by pd? Is there any limit on the size or bitrate of the file? I know the patch is right as it is working for a few wav files.

You might be able to fix the header by loading it into something like Audacity and re-saving the file.
