Hi all, I hope this is in the right forum;

I'm a total noob to PD, we've started learning it at University and it looks to be something very handy to use.
I've started trying to build a simple synth but have run into a couple of issues which I'm hoping some kind folk here may be able to help me with.

Can anyone tell me how I may be able to switch between oscillators and filters?

So I would like to be able to set up an oscillator and choose between say saw, square, and sine. I'd imagine it would be some kind of radio box, but I can't seem to get it switching between oscillator types.

I'd also like to do the same with filters, but I feel once I know how to do it in 1 way, the rest will follow.

one approach would be to set up different subpatches for each waveform then combine some pd logic with the [switch~] object.

if you put a [switch~ 0] object in a subpatch it'll turn the dsp off only for that single subpatch, see attached (as always right click on objects to get contextual help)
