I'm stuck !! I'm trying to create a compositional algorithm that is based around beats and bars and time signatures i.e Pd can react to beats bars note values and time signatures. I've done loads of work with metroplus and del bangs to simulate note values but this doesn't resemble bars and beats (and beat sub-divisions) and time sigs correctly.

I'm uploading the compositional algorithm I've created so far. It's based around the major and minor scales. Please look at the 'pd rhythm' sub patch to see my rhythm ideas so far. The patch uses GRIpd as an interface but you can use the patch without it.

Any help would be great
