I am regularly using Ableton Live 8 to produce multi-track songs from midi tracks.

Sometimes I find myself doing (manually) repetitive options (renaming, colouring tracks, loading wavs, drawing automation lines....)... thinks like that. I wonder if Pd is a language that might automate those kind of activities, or it is just another thing.

I know Live has a Max language, but I never got to understood if Max can do what I want or not.
