Hello to everybody!

I am trying to create a bonk patch in pd but am having a little difficulty with. The snag could be an easy one but here is the problem... I want bonk to learn to look for a hand clap. I have hooked up the learn function to bonk but am not sure if bonk is listening... When i play the hand clap file and a music file it creates info from them both but i just want bonk to look for the hand claps.... I am attaching a photo of the patch so if you guys could help me that would be awesome! Thanks!

For whatever reason I can't seem to view your screenshot. Can you attach a patch? It's really better that you do that, anyway, because then we can actually tweak it.

You shouldn't be playing both samples at the same time to learn a sound. When you go into learn mode, play the clap sample--and only the clap sample--however many times you give as the learn argument (in your case, 10). Then send [learn 0( to turn learn mode off. Now when you play a sample in [bonk~] it should tell you when it recognizes the hand clap through the cooked outlet.
