This is doable in Pd. The clicks are just from cutting a sample from a point other than a zero crossing. You could fill a table with [tabwrite~] and play it back however you want or jump around a delay line using [vd~]. From a quick listen I can't tell how fjordne is deciding when and how the cuts should take place, though. That would probably be the hard part to emulate.
