Hi Everyone

I have been trying to learn this program on my own and have gone through some of the tutorials in the help section and watched a few tutorials on Youtube. I have a few ideas and have had a couple of problems that I was hoping somebody might be able to help me with please.

1. PD alters the sound preferences in my DAW so that I cannot get a sound out from them with PD installed on my computer. I'm not sure why this is happening,I have ASIO4All installed on a laptop with Windows Vista.

2. Is it possible to use PD to control a VST inside a DAW?

It is possible that if you have both software open at once only one can use your ASIO driver. This might change your driver prefs if you open your DAW later. Unlikely but maybe. I have not come across installing PD and not being able to use ASIO drivers in other software. Have you checked the preferences in you DAW?

noteout ctlout pgmout bendout touchout polytouchout midiout would be places to start.

I have been able to get this working by using a virtual MIDI driver called LoopBe1.
