I am trying to find out difference between male and female voice.. I think i could find out if i managed to find the frequency of the real time voice input... But i dont know how to find it... Could you help me please...

you could use FFT to create a signature of each vocalist's voice, then perform spectral analysis on the input to determine which FFT signature the input mostly resembles.

But if you can do that, you may as well perform your pitch analysis on the same thread as your FFT analysis since [fiddle~] itself is doing the same thing.

I have installed pd extended on windows7 ... When i am trying to work with gem window its not working... An error occurs "Invalid enumerant"... Could anyone help me plz.... I tried a lot to solve it but i cant... I cant get any clue also in the internet.... So could any one help me to figure out this problem and to solve it....
