Hi,

I've installed the Pd ambisonic objects library developed by the University of York (http://www.york.ac.uk/music/mrc/software/objects/), and I am wondering if there are any good tutorials on how to get the most out of these objects? There would appear to be nothing on the net?! Any info from anyone who has experience with these objects would be very helpful!

Thanks for posting this. One of these days I'm going to figure this stuff out.

The york plug-ins are actually quite easy to use in conjunction with the help files above. I've built an ambipanner abstraction mapped to an X Y grid. I'll upload it once I'm done with it.

What it is actually doing..

Mapping recorded pitch class contour as an interpolated 2D ambisonic trajectory in Pd. I've produced a contour for pitch class, frequency, midi note, and interval class. The system allows one to map the pitch class contour to an X or Y spatial plane.
