I installed pure data extended from here (on windows xp). I try to use the spigot~ object, which should be in the "unauthorised" library, but it says "couldn't create". Does anybody know what the problem is here?

[spigot~] windows has as far as I know never been fixed.

But that's no problem, use [*~] instead.

Hadn't thought about that with my 1-day experience, thank you for the insight.
