Hi to everyone, I'm wondering is there an object like sig~ but opposite, that convert the audio signal in numbers.

you can do this with [snaphost~]/[metro] combination or an abstraction using snapshot~ called [unsig~].
or you could use the [env~] that outputs decibel values that you can convert back to rms values using [dbtorms].

env~ will not output negative values. nor will envrms~
