i'm running an adc~ signal into a [delay~] and then into the [dac~]. no matter what number i put in as the creation argument, there is no delay. I've tried single digit arguments and arguments requiring scientific notation, and there are no changes in the signal. i understand that the creation argument refers to samples rather than milliseconds and have made the appropriate adjustments, but still. why oh why?!

try using [z~] from the zexxy library, a samplewise delay. or a pair of objects [delwrite~] and [delread~]..
