I am trying to put words and a video on the same screen, like layers merged together, with words on surface.

I tried "pix_mix" to link "pix_film" and "text2d" but it did not work. Could anyone help? There isn't much relevant info on flossmanuel about this!

pix_mix is for pixels. You can use [alpha] and then [colourRGB] to fade/mix the text.

i tried the help patch in the floss manuel (alpha and color RBG)
i have no idea what/ how gemheads are merged tho i clicked the toggle boxes and scrolled the no. boxes

i tried it for hours, and found that only if i name the gemheads with numbers, and they would be placed like layers. there is no need to use pix_mix/ alpha/ colorRGB ...

anyway, thanks for the input guys!
