@shankar : the last created gui object always goes in the front of everything else. So if you want something to go in front (any object, subpatch,...) just duplicate it and remove the old instance.

I just learned how to use 'graph on parent' which is a lot cleaner in the end.. I am working on something for the spacebar to do now.

anyway... the idea is that you use some text (a poem or something) as a score for performance and just type it out
